Team Member Highlight | Emily

Here at 3 Pillar Homes, we are a small family.  So this week on our blog, we have decided to take some time to recognize one of our team members!  We asked our office manager, Emily, about her time working with 3 Pillar.  Emily is the backbone of our team, always keeping things on track. How long have you worked at 3 Pillar Homes?  This July marks my 13th anniversary.  3 Pillar was my first job right out of college.   What is you favorite aspect of working here?  I enjoy the numbers, and have always enjoyed math in general.  Interacting with the homeowners is fun, as well.   How did you get on this career path?  By luck.  I wasn’t really knowledgeable in the construction and home-building world at the time.  I was applying to anything when I left college (at that point I still didn’t know what I wanted to really “do or be”).  But I ended up loving this industry so it stuck.   Do you have a favorite memory since working at 3 Pillar?  The people I have met along the way: great homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors.   What is your favorite floor plan?  The Emily Rose for obvious reasons ;)  I don’t have a favorite really, I like all of them!   Any advice for prospective homeowners?  Make this your dream home!  If there is something you are considering but then think maybe you will do after you close, do it now. That way, when you move in there's less work to do.  Just enjoy!   Thank you, Emily, for your time and all the work you do here at 3 Pillar!
